1st-Impressions.dental is a private dental practice providing family dentistry, cosmetic smile design and implants in East Kent.

We do not provide NHS treatment, but can provide a list of NHS practitioners on request.

The 11 and 34/34x buses run past the practice. Get the 34 bus to Stirling Way and then walk in through the big green gates. We are also within walking distance of Westwood Cross bus station.

DOMICILIARY VISITS

Treatment at home is available to patients with limited mobility, depending on the nature of the treatment required. Please note not all treatments can be carried out in your home.

RECORDS

Your medical and dental records and any associated correspondence are confidential and will not be disclosed without your permission. They are protected by state-of-the-art encryption with multiple redundant backups.

Free recalls

Sending you recalls is a FREE service. We will let you know when your routine checkup or hygienist visit is due. Your recall may be in the form of an email or an SMS invitation to call the practice, or a letter with a pre-booked appointment.

Recall intervals are tailored to your personal circumstances and can vary from 3 months to 2 years.

We will remind you of all appointments by email and/or SMS. You can tell us which you prefer.

failed appointments

It is very important that you give us one working day's notice if you are unable to attend. Not turning up for appointments will incur charges and can cause problems with booking in the future.

IF YOU CHANGE DENTISTS

There is no need to request your records to be forwarded. If your new dentist would like a copy of your records they will request them from us. We may contact you to verify this. This service is FREE.

IF YOU WANT A COPY OF YOUR RECORDS

You have the right to get a copy of the information that is held about you. This is known as a subject access request. There is a set timescale and charges apply. Visit the Information Commissioners Web site for further details.
