Quality
Your treatment is carried out to the highest standards, using modern materials and techniques. At 1st-Impressions we only use tooth-coloured filling materials as we are a mercury-free practice. We look after your comfort and safety.
Our clinical staff have a commitment to ongoing postgraduate education to keep them up to date and we regard constantly improving our skills as an important part of delivering a first class service.
Our metal dentures, crowns and bridgework are carried out by laboratories that have achieved BS5750/ISO9002 and our metal denture castings are guaranteed by the manufacturers for five years.
Care Quality Commission
The CQC regulates Dental Care Professionals Ltd to provide care at 1st-Impressions Dental Practice. (View registration details.)
It regulates all primary dental care services in England—both private and NHS and publishes up-to-date information from assessments. The CQC can take action against any service provider that is not meeting their standards.
The practice was inspected routinely on 14 February 2017 and received the highest pass mark. Download and read the CQC report.
General Dental Council
Our team members are registered with the General Dental Council which regulates the ability and behaviour of dental professionals.
Disclosure and Barring Checks
Formerly called Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks, all clinical staff have passed an Enhanced DBS Check, which includes:
spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands and final warnings.
any additional information held by local police that’s reasonably considered relevant
Non-clinical staff do not require DBS checks as they have no access to children or vulnerable adults.
